This is a closup of the upper intake.
I used the upper intake from a 87~90 4cyl. LX Mustang.
This upper is the same hight as the SVO/merkur piece, but is a
little shorter where the Throttle Body Bolts on, this gave me
more room to work with and helps a little with hood clearance.
I Plan to get another upper form the Junk Yard and have it,
cut, rotated 90 degrees, then TIG welded back together, but
this temporary way of doing it has a total cost of under $20.

This is a view of the custom adaptor plate I made.
It was nessesary to turn the intake 90degrees toward the.
front of the car so that the Intercooler pipe run is as short as possable.
I made the spacer plate from a piece of 3/8" thick aluminum, some
modifications were nessesary to the upper intakes mounging holes
to get everything including bolt heads to clear.
When I have the extra upper intake cut/welded it will cost around $75
I just wanted to see if it could be done this way.

Here is a view of the Thick Film Module.
By "OFF" mounting from the distributor it is
no longer in the heat.
The engine heat a Normal TFI would see everyday, usually
reduced the TFI's performance as well as its longevity.

This is a view of the outlet of the Radiator fan.
All I had to do to adapt a normal stock fan to fit onto
the custom "skinny" radiator was re-bend the upper/passenger side
mounting bar into its new position.
The other 3 mounts lined up just right!
