Drivers Side Restoration
Restoration Progress and Photo Archive
The Official 20th Anniversary Mustang Website & Registry

This is a photo of the drivers side of my the car just after I purchased it. Notice the "R" 's in the GT350 Striping. After extensive research, I found that these were added by a previous owner and are not original to ANY 20th anniversary mustang. They were EXTREMLY convincing though.
(June 1994)

This is a whole view of the car after I played around with an SVO intercooler and some cool headlamp Louvres. I modified an SVOhood to fit the 83 thru 86 front nose pieces, much to my suprise this was really easy to accomplish, and again, no holes were drilled. Not even for the headlamp louvers. Now that the car is undergoing a COMPLETE restoration, the Hood, Intercooler, and Louvres have been removed. I really do miss the Intercooler setup, it was a DEFINITE performance gain! This car regularly "outran" many 5 litres when this setup was in place. I even had the SVO dual exhaust on it at the time.
(July 1994)

Here is the Driver side Fender Filler Panel(now in primer). These are VERY unique to 1984 Mustang GT's and GT350's. Although 1985 thru 1993 filler panels are all similer, they do NOT fit properly and the body lines do not line up correctly. Each different year of filler panels have subtle differences in the curviture and shape especially where the panel butts up to the front nose piece. (Late August 1997)

Here is one of the side Marker Lights, these are usually either broken or really sun faded. I Replaced both sides with Brand new units which are still available from ford. (April 1997)

Here is a Common Problem with 13 year old mirrors, sun / weather fading. these are easily re painted back to original.
