Engine Bay page 2

This is what the engine bay looked like without the Intercooler.
Notice the original "tube" where the SVO Intercooler would be.
(January 1997)

Heres a view of the Dual electric Fans just after I got the car. These Fans are not Original to the Anniversary Mustang, the original fan is a large single electric fan and is the same as the fans used in all the EFI 4cyl. Mustangs.
(January 1997)

Here is a view of the "Spaghetti" Mess of Factory Wiring and Air Conditioning Hoses etc.... I Plan to "Clean" this up as much as possible when I get to the point of detailing the engine/engine bay.
(January 1997)

Here is a view of the Factory "Buck" Tag.
The tag is usually Located either somwhere on the Radiator support or on the Firewall. Using the Buck Tag and comparing the Consecutive Unit number with the Door Data Tag and the Dashboard VIN Stamping can help Identify Fake Anniversary Mustangs From genuine.
(March 1997)

Here is a view of the Battery area, I removed all the wiring, the Battery and Tray etc...
The common problem here is rust-through due to battery acid. I was lucky, just some minor surface rust (Black areas). The rust is blackened in this photo because of the Rust inhibitor I used to initally stop the rust. Always be sure to use a wire wheel on a drill and remove as much surface rust as possible and re-inhibit the rest before priming and painting.
